Tyson Clemons

Tyson Clemons

Funeral Director

Tyson Clemons grew up in Pocatello, Idaho. He has been married to his wife Jan (Morrow) Clemons, who grew up in Aberdeen, Idaho, for more than 20 years. They have two children Bridgette “B” and Jake.

After working in various medical areas, he decided to go to mortuary school in Mesa, Arizona. He worked at a funeral home while he was in school. The reason the family went to Mesa to go to school was because there is baseball 10 months out of the year. After he completed mortuary school, the decision was made to return to Idaho to be closer to family.

He and his family have been in the Teton Valley for several years. He worked for Valley Mortuary until his family and the family of Krista and Cole Nethercott had the opportunity to purchase the funeral home in November of 2021.

In 2000 she moved to Jackson, Wyoming where she worked as a legal secretary for both Teton County and a private law firm and as a probation agent for the Wyoming Department of Corrections.  In 2018 she began working for the former Valley Mortuary in Jackson as the office manager.

In 2021 Krista, along with her husband Cole, and partners Tyson and Jan Clemons purchased Valley Mortuary in Jackson and Driggs, Idaho, rebranding the business as Grand Teton Funeral Home and Cremation.  In 2021 Krista enrolled at the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service, which will result in her becoming a certified Funeral Director.

Krista and Cole have been married since 2002 and have three children, Josh, Andy, and Kate.  In her spare time, Krista enjoys crafting.
