Jonathan “Johnny” Thomas Trotta, age 28, of Mount Kisco, NY, passed away on April 6th  in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Johnny was born to Bonnie and Tom Trotta on September 1st, 1990.  He went to high school at Horace Greeley in Chappaqua, NY. He graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in public relations. He was an avid athlete, including football and baseball. He loved snowboarding and spent five years in the mountains of Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Johnny was a fun-loving and gentle soul.  His sense of humor was present in everything he did. He could find humor in even the most unusual circumstances. He was committed to his family and friends and enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved animals, especially dogs, since the day he came into this world.

Johnny is survived by his parents, Tom and Bonnie, his siblings James (and wife Ina), Peter and Katama, his five nieces and nephews, his loving soul mate Brandy, and their two faithful dogs, “V” and Little Mamma.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Habitat for Humanity, a foundation close to his heart. The family has set up a fund to build a house in his honor at http://gofundme.com/a-habitat-for-johnny

There will be a memorial service Friday, April 12th, at St.Matthew’s Church in Bedford, NY at 11 am.
