Jackson resident Rachel Rafferty died April 28 just outside Jackson. She was 24.
Her family provided the following.
Rachel was the love and light of Jesus Christ to all who knew her and now rests in her Savior’s arms for eternity.
She attended Mountain View High School in Stafford, Virginia, before moving to Colorado Springs, Colorado, and graduating from Lewis-Palmer High School in Monument.
She attended New Mexico State University, including an exciting semester studying German at the University of Salzburg in Austria. She had worked and lived in the Jackson area since 2016.
Rachel is survived by her parents, Gary and Kristyn Rafferty, of Colorado Springs, and her brothers David Rafferty, Daniel Rafferty and Jonathan Rafferty.

Rachel left a beautiful legacy through her outdoor photography and the countless friendships made while hiking the peaks of the Tetons, fishing the Snake River, kayaking Jenny Lake and horseback riding near Flagg Ranch.
